I have planted three of these around the place having seen them in a gardening book. They need little care once established and the root is good for aiding sleep and as a relaxant. It looks great at the back of a border too!
It is a natural and effective tranquilizer that is said to reduce the time that it takes to fall asleep as well as improving the quality of your sleep! Bye, Bye Nytol! :-)
It seems that the only downfall is that it does not smell too nice.
Again I am not a health professional and do not advocate you grow this but there seem to be lots of reference to this out there and it appears as an active ingredient on a number of over the counter medications so......
